it started in the morning - all was good until you were all dressed and ready to go

all you needed to do was brush your teeth

of course you dropped toothpaste on your new blouse and had to change because your boss would literally kill you if you strutted in there with toothpaste stains on your clothing

that didn’t upset you too much anyway,, yep, it kinda sucks but it is what it is

you went to work

that’s when it started to REALLY go downhill

first, you had to sit your ass in this tiny cubicle all day and it remained right on that chair every time you stood up

that’s what it felt like at least

then, you lost data that you’ve been working on for a MONTH

an entire month’s worth data!!!! LOST!!!!

curse you and your issue with forgetting where you put your folders

so you started over

was it worth it?

your boss hated it

you ended up dropping the project overall,, handed it over to a co-worker

your excuse was that you felt too ‘unfit’ for the whole project and he would totally be a better fit!

poor bennett

bennett is a nice guy, you always hang out with him during break

you usually talk shit about the other co-workers and he just listens and sits there like ◕ ◡ ◕

he’s just there for the food you bring him, really

he’s a little dumb so he took the project from you with no hesitation

“i’ll do it for you, dont even worry about it, y/n!”

you ended up working overtime

you had about 7 projects to finish until tomorrow morning and they were all only half-done

so you got your coffee, turned off your phone and got to work

you finished at 9pm

your work hours are 8am-5:30pm

nope, not having a great time

well, at least you can go home now!

you pack up your stuff and get up, leaving this hellhole of an office, stretching as you wait for the elevator before checking your phone to see 7 missed calls from your roommate

his excuse is always that he can’t handle the warmth but you’re sure its so you whine about the cold so he can hug you to warm you up

he’s a whole package - the only thing he’s lacking is emotional availability lmao

which is why you never mentioned the day by day blooming feelings you’ve been developing for him

there would be no positive outcome from you telling him. he would politely turn you down, having to explain yet again that he doesn’t see himself having actual romantic feelings to someone

he stops when he sees your soaked figure and tired expression

“oh, y/n, what happened?”

he immediately helped you chuck off your wet coat and shoes

“i worked overtime and missed the last bus so i had to walk home”, you sighed

he nodded and hummed “Go ahead and take a shower then, wouldn’t want you to get sick now, would we?” he winked

you scoffed but nodded anyway

“yeah, especially in this coLD FUCKING APARTMENT BECAUSE YOU REFUSE TO LET THE HEATERS TURNED ON-”

you only heard him laugh before shutting the door in the bathroom and jumping into the shower, needing to warm up because you were sure your toes were about to fall off from the cold

“what’re you baking?”

he sat and watched as you gathered all the ingredients you need

“cupcakes. how was your day?”

you strike up a conversation - all you talked about today was work and you need some decent interaction, plus kaeya is a super nice talk partner

“good. i had a day-off today so i layed in bed all day”

you hummed, stirring the eggs and flour

“how come? you never get off”

“no reason, i was forcibly given a day off- well anyways, what i wanted to tell you about before you worried me because i thoght you were deAD when you didn’t respond, is that i need your help setting up a date for diluc-”

you stopped listening halfway

you were looking at the unopened sugar bag on the counter

you just stirred the sugar in, why is it unopened????

you look over at the open bag of salt

wait a second

you take out a little dough and taste it

FUCK

“hello??? earth to y/n?? are you even liste-”

he stops himself as soon as you look at him with your lower lip trembling

uhhhhh

he’s never been in this situation

“y/n?? why are you crying-”

he looks at the counter and the dough, then he sees the salt beside the bowl you were stirring in and leans over to try some

oh, that’s why

“oh come on, is that what you’re crying over?” he snorted

he could barely catch you when you collapsed and started sobbing

he immediately regreted what he said

“hey, y/n, it’s just a little dough! its okay-”

you just sobbed and he sat down with you, sighing and pulling you into a tight hug

you felt your lungs constricting and your hands started shaking

you didn’t even notice how antsy you felt all day until now

you gasped for air and he tightened his grip on you

“w-why am i so worthless?!”

you punched his chest

“i can’t do a single thi-ng with-out messing it up!”

“i’m so us-useless”

“i should just kill m-”

he immediately pulled away and cupped your face before you could finish what you were about to say

“y/n, look at me. you had a bad day - you’re not useless! you’re stressed out! you’re one of the most hardworking people that i know- and, and don’t you ever mention anything about killing yourself! i won’t let you go, not as long as im here”

you were too busy fighting against the constricting feeling in your lungs to notice the tear slipping down his cheek before he hugged you tightly again

your hands gripped at his tshirt

his hand rested over your shaky ones

it broke him

seeing you in such state hurt him so much, he felt his own heart breaking a little with every gasp you took

“come on, let’s breathe together”

his voice was soft when he spoke to you

he took a deep breath in, you following

you wrapped your arms around him and leaned your head against his chest when breathing out

hearing his heartbeat made you feel safe

he kept breathing with you until he was more than sure you could breathe comfortably again

why did he feel like this?

sure, flirting with girls is fun

and ghosting them is also fun

he usually doesn’t care about hurting them

but why does he feel the need to protect you from all bad things?

and why does your pain hurt him too?

he sighs and shakes his head as if that would clear his mind

oh well.

taking care of your needs is more important right now

he picks you up and walks over to the couch, sitting down, placing you on his lap and hugging you

“you’re not cooking anything, we’ll order takeout.”

you sniffled and nodded

you did feel your heart flutter a little when he sat you down on him

he’s never done that

you ignore it and reside into the warmth he gives instead, nuzzling your face into his chest

he smiles softly and strokes your hair, using his free hand to type in what you were ordering

you both fell into a comfortable silence

at some point he thought you fell asleep lol

“kaeya?”

he rose his brows a little and looked down, humming

“thank you.”

“You no longer own me.”

The guppies in the tank that spans nearly half the space of the wall flush around, their brightly colored and flared tails gently wading in the water. Juyeon gently taps on the glass, the yellow guppy swimming towards him instead of away. The shelves are stacked with books on marine life and nature, posters of the Northern Lights dawn the walls if they weren’t covered in the latest Apple commercial poster.

He hears the hurried footsteps before he hears his assistant, who is huffing by the time she’s at the door of his office. “Anything urgent, Miss Young? Forgive me if I imagined I told you that I would be unavailable until after lunch.”

“Sir, I think you should see the news. I know why your parents aren’t in office today.”

“What?” Juyeon finally pulls away from the tank, worried eyes scanning his assistant. She’s well-dressed, has short hair and ruby cheeks. She looks like she belongs in high school. “Anything serious happen? An accident?”

“Um, no, it’s just--”

Ring ring

Lee Juyeon turns to the phone set on his table, then side-eyes Young Jin Seol, feet turning toward the device.

“No, sir! Wait, before you--”

“Hello?”

“Good morning, Mr Lee. We’re calling from The Board to request your availability tonight for a press conference regarding today’s updates.”

Juyeon scoffs gently, standing straight up and resting a hand on his hip. He turns to look at Jin Seol, eyes filled with caution, as if they meant to say I told you not to pick it up.

“I’m sorry but... what updates?”

“The change in ownership of HERA & ARTEMIS and the marriage.”

There’s a brooding uneasiness in his gut as he processes the heavy word. In the world of corporate under The Board, the word ‘marriage’ is nothing but a contract.

“Remind me who this concerns?”

“You, sir. The marriage between you and Kim Jang Won. The Board would like your presence during a press conference to address the marriage as well as the following change in ownership of HERA & ARTEMIS.”

It’s like Medusa has just stared him straight in the eye, for Juyeon fails to respond in any way possible.

“Uh... sir? Hello? Mr Lee Juyeon?”

Jin Seol rushes over, able to hear the voice on the other end calling out to him. She grabs the phone and presses it to her ear, eyes plastered to Juyeon, whose lips seemed to be whitening. “Hi, this is Young Jin Seol, Mr Lee’s assistant. He’s not feeling very well now, so I’ll get him to give you a call later regarding the press conference, if that’s alright.”

“Oh, um, of course. But we’d like to have details settled by 1pm later, Miss Young. If it’s not too troubling to relay the message to Mr Lee.”

“Rest assured, he’ll...” Jin Seol watches Juyeon trudge to the couches sitting before the tank, sinking into the soft cushion and pressing his fingers into his closed lids. “I’ll make sure he gets back to you by then.”

Juyeon can feel the skin on his chest stretch when he sucks in a deep breath. The nonsensical thoughts start to crowd his head in the most logical way possible, if that was even possible. Luckily, the only thing he could hear was the bubbling of the oxygen pump in the tank.

He hears Jin Seol return the phone back into the phone set before he finally opens his eyes, vision a little blurred from the pressure of his fingers.

“I could schedule them in straight away but I have a feeling you’d want to talk to your parents first, Mr Lee.”

Juyeon brings his palms down to his nose and mouth, lips perpendicular to his index finger and his thumbs under his chin as he focuses on the table before him. The white tulips in the vase have already started to brown.

“Schedule them for lunch at 11 and I’d like to be left alone from 12.30 to 1. I’ll call The Board myself afterwards,” Juyeon notes the coldness in his voice, an element he doesn’t even recognise much. “My parents and I have alot to talk about.”

The Director of Chang’s Funeral Services personally flips open the file, turning it and sliding it across the table to the siblings sitting opposite them. Mr Chang would’ve shat himself if Kim Jang Won had come alone - she doesn’t have the title ‘Hera’s Princess’ for nothing. It’s a good thing ‘The Prince of Artemis’ had come with her. But maybe that’s just it, isn’t it?

What if he pulled out a gun and shot me right now?

Younghoon’s eyes conscientiously process the printed words on the document, his sister a little too over the edge to be paying attention to anything.

“We-- Um, carried out an investigation and realised that the bodies were... well... mismatched.”

Younghoon listens, but his gaze is still on the carbon print. The file was labelled KIM JO-PIL but the papers in the folder belonged to someone else. Someone else’s body. A common city address.

“Have you excavated the body?”

“In progress, Mr Kim. They should be calling any time now for after identification.”

“I don’t suppose you have the documents for Kim Jo-Pil? The ones that were supposed to be in this folder?”

“The thing is... I remember seeing the documents. My colleagues have too. The people in charge of your father’s burial saw it too. But... if it’s not in this office then frankly, I’ve got no clue where it would be.”

For the first time in 3 hours, Jang Won actually looks somewhat understanding, sympathetic, empathetic. Younghoon shuts the file and slides it over to Jang Won when she sits up in her seat.

“If you don’t mind, we’ll take the file and contact the deceased’s family. When’s that body identification phone call coming in?” Then the 3-hour streak is lost, and Younghoon sighs exasperatedly, out of her peripheral vision. “Taking mighty long for a simply body identification, no?”

Flustered, Mr Chang fumbles for the phone set sitting in the corner of his desk, hurriedly dialing a number.

“Where do you think he ran to for 2 years?” Jang Won squints at the deceased’s information. “Why 2 years?”

Younghoon runs a hand through his hair, probably worth about half a million Korean Won. “You ask me as if I know any more than you do.”

Mr Chang is finally talking to someone. Jang Won’s focus fixates on something familiar at the bottom of the page.

“That’s because maybe you do,” Lifting the file, she points to the bottommost section.

LAST OCCUPATION:

PHOTOGRAPHER FOR ARTEMIS ENTERTAINMENT GROUP

“It’s your company and subsidiary. I’m surprised you don’t recognise the name.”

“I might own Artemis but I don’t personally know all 278 employees. If he’s a photographer and I don’t recognise him, that means he’s in another department. Women, or children or product. I’m only listed as a model under the ‘Males’ department.”

There’s a silence in the air that allowed Younghoon to hear the gears churning in Jang Won’s head. The appearance of Kim Jo-Pil, 2 years after his supposed death, has just dragged both his children and everybody else related into a mess of a puzzle. But Younghoon has no doubt his sister can find all the pieces, much less draw the connections.

There’s a reason why she could build HERA & ARTEMIS from the ground up.

Mr Chang finally hangs up, sighing heavily as he looks at the powerful siblings over the rim of his glasses. “They’ve confirmed. The body in the coffin you saw your father in belongs to the man in the document.”

Younghoon chortles in disbelief. “Right then. So our father did die, but someone managed to swap the bodies before it was lowered, and then proceeded to keep him alive for the next 2 years.”

Jang Won flips and finds a portrait of the dead man. “Question is... who?”

Younghoon stands up first, thanking Mr Chang and tapping Jang Won as he turns for the exit of the office. The Director doesn’t even get a chance to bid his goodbye when Jang Won leaves, behind Younghoon.

Escorted by four bodyguards, the siblings walk side by side with her heels clicking against the floor. Upon reaching the first floor, the lift doors ding open into an array of reporters hustling outside the entrance.

“Get them out of my face before I ruin their lives!”

The guards rush before them, hurriedly trying to disperse the crowd. Jang Won pulls out her sunglasses, covering her eyes.

“Time-wasting assholes.”

The shouted questions are loud and intrusive. The short distance of a few tens of metres feel like a mile from all the shoving and yelling. The flashes refuse to cease, but they’ve been in the spotlight for so long, it just gets annoying.

BREAKING: KIM YOUNGHOON AND KIM JANG WON SPOTTED AT CHANG’S FUNERAL SERVICES - KIM JO-PIL CONFIRMED TO HAVE BEEN SWAPPED OUT BEFORE BURIAL TWO YEARS AGO

Juyeon turns into the private room the restaurant manager has led him to, leaving him at the door whilst his parents gawk at the headlines blasting on the screen mounted to the wall. There’s a picture of Kim Jang Won and her brother getting into a car right below the headlines.

“Quite a mess, isn’t it?”

Both of them whip around to see the young man standing by the door, pushing himself off the frame and strutting into the private room. The whole fit he was wearing could buy a short vacation. His father reaches for the remote and shuts off the television.

“I expect nothing less from Kim Jo-Pil, given the history of HERA & ARTEMIS. It was just a matter of time before his daughter took over and turned it into a multi-billion name,” His mother sings, fingers around the base of a glass of wine and carefully swirling the blood-red liquid.

Juyeon sits, and a waiter comes by to fill his glass with wine. The gentle whir of the air-conditioning in the room is the only source of noise, other than the waiter taking his leave. Juyeon picks up the glass, raising a brow as he brings it to his lips. “I expect nothing less from my own parents when they are about to put me up for a certain type of contract,” He pauses, the glass in mid-air. “Say... a marriage.”

His lips meet the curve of the glass and he takes a sip.

“We wanted to tell you before we agreed, but--”

“But the money’s more worth?” He winces from the alcohol in the wine, frowning and offering a sarcastic purse of his lips. “I can imagine. All that stuff you have at home... you know, grand piano worth five million, a kitchen big enough for a herd of horses-- oh, not to mention the actual stable of horses... Yeah, I guess... I guess I could empathise with how you needed more than those. Planning a re-deco? I might know some great architects.”

“Juyeon...”

“No, no,” Placing down the glass, he waves his hand. “Let me put things into perspective for you. After all, gotta make the homework I did on my way here worth it right? See if it’s correct.”

Juyeon clears his throat and cracks his knuckles, knowing that his parents are offering him the most miserable looks they’ve ever given him in his life.

“The Board announces Kim Jo-Pil’s return. HERA & ARTEMIS goes back under his belt, leaving Kim Jang Won, current owner and might I say, the very reason why HERA & ARTEMIS is as good as it is today, jobless and absolutely helpless in a ditch. The Board then passes a rule, one which I have never heard before in my life, maybe because it’s never happened before, but... in order for Kim Jang Won to re-obtain some kind of ownership or at least some part of HERA & ARTEMIS, she must marry a name attached to The Board. And the two of you, seeing how rich and successful Kim Jang Won has made HERA & ARTEMIS, snatched the offer up first and put me on the stage... for auction.”

“Auction...!”

“Correct me, will you? Because that’s exactly what I think you did. What, becoming the next director of Apple-Korea isn’t enough for you? Owning the Korean branch of one of the largest tech companies in the world isn’t enough-- you must have a fashion-retail company?!”

The entire room falls into heavy silence. The waiters knock before entering with some seafood appetizer. Juyeon sucks his lips between his teeth, nibbling anxiously on his bottom one.

“Juyeon...” His father waits for the waiter to leave. “We... we just wanted the best for you. You know how powerful the Kim family is. Any remote connection to them will do us good. It’ll do you good.”

He scoffs and rubs his forehead with his index and middle finger. “I really have no clue what’s going on in those heads of yours sometimes.”

“I don’t know why you’re so against this, Juyeon. It’ll be helpful to you in your future!”

“As opposed to what? Wanting to be a marine biologist? Wanting to study the waters and nature? Is that what you’re trying to say?”

Thinking that his father would hush his mother, Juyeon is surprised when he doesn’t.

“Wow, really? Nothing?”

Silence.

His mother picks up a fork.

“Very nice to know that you’re treating me like a piece of property instead of your son.”

Juyeon pulls the napkin off his lap and stands.

“Oh, and uh... Don’t wait for a wedding invitation. You’re not getting one.”

“Juyeon!” His parents collectively exclaim in disdain, eyes widening as he struts towards the exit and out of the room.

“What? You auctioned me off! You no longer own me, right?!”

Juyeon huffs angrily, hands running through his hair and ruining his own efforts of waxing his hair. He enters the lift, multiple staff members looking at him stride into the metallic box, confused. His fingers search for his phone in the pocket of his blazer, the device buzzing non-stop from the headlines and messages and emails from broadcasting companies and companies he couldn’t give two shits about.

But when the lift doors open and he sees the Kim Jang Won standing right outside with the same suit and sunglasses he had previously seen her on TV with, his eyes widen with a mix of surprise and distaste.

“Well, if it isn’t Kim Jang Won... or might I say, my fiancé?”

“My dad couldn’t have done this on his own. I have a theory, and multiple plans to fix this mess of a shitshow, so I’m here to figure out if you wanna be in on it.”

Juyeon scoffs and shoves his hands into his pockets, stepping out of the lift and staring down straight at her. He attempts to search for her eyes through the chocolate-brown shade of her sunglasses, but fails.

A tiny smirk crawls unto her lips as she pulls it off, her bright, sparkling, manipulative eyes ignite some flame in Juyeon.

Because that’s just how smart and cunning Kim Jang Won is.

“I know you don’t give a shit, Lee Juyeon. About The Board, about the marriage, about Apple.”

He chuckles, teeth wiping his canine teeth as he pulls his shoulders back. “So you Googled me. Should I be impressed?”

Then his phone buzzes and he pulls it out in a bid to display some kind of disinterest.

Young Jin Seol [12.13pm]: The tulips are here! [photo]

He blinks, eyes travelling from the screen to the most powerful figure of his generation under The Board.

“If I could find this out from Google, I think you should revisit your privacy logistics,” Kim Jang Won squints one eye and raises her brow. “I’m not here to confuse you or piss you off, Lee Juyeon. I’m here with an offer, to save both our asses. I want HERA & ARTEMIS back but I cannot do it if I have no link to it.”

“What’s in it for me then? It’s not like you can buy me a degree in marine biology.”

“I can’t but you could have the freedom to do so. I’ll pay for you to start your own company. Whoever said you needed a degree to do what you wanted to do? In this world... all you need is money and a little bit of brain... but!” She points to him her sunglasses. “You don’t have to worry about either because I’ve got that covered. All I need you to do is get down on one knee -- willingly -- for the whole world to see... and I’ll give you your freedom.”

Juyeon sucks in a deep breath so hard that he wheezes and Kim Jang Won could not be any more satisfied with herself.

The overwhelming desire to kiss

Something light~

Aymeric had stepped outside his home for fresh air. The previous night he had his own worries to deal with that he did not even entertain the turmoils that bothered the Scions. They were far from his mind, the event that took place in his home required his attention greater.

Kiya had gone into labor, and he did not leave her side for anything, not even the messenger or linkpearl that asked for his presence at the Rising Stones. In his haste he had told them pointedly to not bother him with trivial nonsense. Using his former Ishgard stance to not get involved in foreign matters.

It was foreign for him, dealing with a supernatural being. Kivera, he could never be truly angry with her, he had given him his wife. Who needed him more. He sided with the reaper in her methods, for the fact Cid meddles with things he should leave dormant, while G’raha Tia had cheated death a few times. Those thoughts vanish as he remembers the fresh face of his daughter.

Alyse was finally born after what felt like eight hours of labor. He had stepped out to get some air, he looked dishelved, but a wide smile on his face as he felt the warm sun despite the cold of Ishgard’s permanent winter.

Kiya was wiped out from exerting her energy, when he left her and Alyse, Kiya had protectively held their daughter close to her chest as she slept. A sight he wished he could capture to always remember.

“Ser Aymeric!” Aymeric looks over to see Edmont.

“Lord Edmont! Good to see you.” He had yet to tell anyone about the birth, and Edmont is the perfect first person for him to break the news to. The only other people that would know is Whitecape and the scared messenger he yelled at for bothering him while his wife was giving birth.

“You look rough, the wife?” He teases Aymeric, a wry smile graces his lips.

“Indeed, she kept me up half the night with bringing in our daughter.” Aymeric’s tone is teasing, he sees Edmont’s face light up.

“She?” Aymeric nods, the older Fortemps places a hand on Aymeric’s shoulder.

“They’re both well?”

“Kiya is asleep and so is Alyse.” He answers his question, and starts to lead him back to his home. He knows Edmont wants to see a grandchild. He’d still have to wait a while before any of his other sons marry.

“Alyse? A girl?” He felt a little concern, the first born between them being a girl. She’ll have alot of things to accomplish in the name of her parents.

“Aye, even I was surprised.” They speak more in hushed whispers upon entry of the Borel manor. Silently Aymeric has Edmont warm up by a fire, himself included as they make small talk till he went to retrieve Alyse from Kiya’s arms.

The first noticeable feature Edmont sees is the ears and tail. His heart warmed from both and is grateful to see her healthy.

“She’s miqo, like Kiya.” Edmont remarks quietly, the soft face of Alyse makes him wish he wasn’t so old to have another child blessed to him. As he touches Alyse’s face the infant’s mouth opens wide, in a natural reaction to feed.

“Be a while before we see her eyes. I wonder whose she’ll have, Aymeric’s or Kiya’s?”

“Mine. Got a glimpse of them after the birth when she was awake. She already has my eyes, but the same seeker of the sun.” Edmont understood, and brushes his thumb over Alyse’s face touching softly. He felt great able to see a grandchild before he would end up in death himself at some point.

“Already stunning like her parents, the city will love her.” He is certain, she is bound for greatness much like Aymeric was. He prayed that Alyse doesn’t suffer the vast racism still within the city. She is a mixed, and mixed were heavily discriminated against still.

Edmont hands Alyse back to Aymeric who looks just right with her. Though compared to the elezen men, she was smaller in the crooks of their arms.

“May Halone bless and guide her through. She should be returned to her mother before she misses her.” Aymeric nods, and goes to give Alyse back to Kiya. He sees Edmont out, giving him permission to tell choice people. He had moogles to deliver letters to Estinien and Shuri about Alyse.

When he is back next to Kiya, he sees odd green eyes glare at him from her nest of blankets.

“You took her from me.” Aymeric almost feels fear from her tone, a little anger in her voice.

“F-forgive me, my love. Edmont.” Aymeric feels sheepish, Kiya snickers a little then winces.

“I only jest, should have woken me up to speak with him.” Kiya felt her body like she had plummeted from Kugane’s tower. Sore in every nerve, her back felt twisted from being bent in a position that helped ease birth.

“How are your hands?” She asks Aymeric as she sits up enough to take Alyse.

“Sore still, but nothing that won’t heal. I let you rest longer, you were up half the night after all.” Kiya looks up into loving blue eyes staring at her. He looked excited, he looked proud, he had nothing but love directed at Kiya and Alyse.

Aymeric feels another linkpearl message and answers it this time. Kiya gets one herself but chooses to half ignore it.

“Aymeric, we’ve been trying to reach you and Kiya. Is everything alright?” Tataru.

“My apologies for ignoring the linkpearls last night, Kiya and I were unavailable.”

“What had you two busy that you didn’t answer?” It felt like a tease.

“A birth.” Kiya answers groggy and half annoyed. She can almost see the lalafell’s shocked expression. She flattens her ears knowing what is about to happen.

“AND YOU DIDN’T TELL ME!?! WHAT?! YOU HAD THE BABY?!” Aymeric grimaces himself at the assault on his ears. Kiya looks at him pleading.

“Miss Tataru, she was in labor, she couldn’t very well answer you.” Aymeric defends.

“I’ll be over soon! I have to see, are they a boy or a girl!?”

“Alyse. A girl.” Another shout of excitement from Tataru.

“Do you want me to tell the others?” Tataru is excited, this was good news after the situation that presented itself the previous night.

“You can tell them. But I am only accepting a few visitors at a time.” Kiya moves closer to rest her head against Aymeric’s shoulder, Alyse had fed enough.

“Will do! I will visit in a few days then!” Tataru excitedly ends the linkpearl to go tell the Scions the uplifting news about the baby.

Kiya eyes Aymeric, and he leans over to give her a gentle kiss.

“You weren’t going to ask what last night was about?” Kiya inquires.

“Frankly, I do not care. From what a messenger at the door said, it was a matter of Kivera attacking Cid and G’raha Tia.”

“She attacked them? Why?” Aymeric helps adjust Alyse between him and Kiya as he laid next to her.

“I do not know why, but from my encounters with her. She doesn’t do it without reasons. My guess they stepped where they shouldn’t have. Let’s not dwell on that for now my love? We have more important matters here. You getting more rest, and me to dote on both of you.” Another kiss on her face, and Kiya turns her head to press one back to the side of his face.

“Agreed. Maybe I should follow Shuri’s example and become a stay at home mother for Alyse.” Kiya muses aloud.

“I would not be opposed to that idea. It means you are here safe, instead of nearly dying fighting monsters left and right, solving everyones problems when the only thing I want you to solve right now. Is how to appease my need to kiss you senseless.”

“What stops you?” Kiya teases him.

“The frailty that has hit you.”

“Frail? Me? Frail? You do know a few elixirs should have me up and running again.” Green eyes look at him with playful intent.

“Oh, so you weren’t pleading to all twelve deities about how you were about to die last night?”

“In my defense. I was in pain. You push another living thing out of your body the way I did.” Kiya’s face darkens. Aymeric presses his face close to one of her ears.

“I much rather push something into you.” His voice a quiet low hum, Kiya hits his shoulder for that one, seeing his devilish smile.

“You are a tease..” She turns her head enough, and Aymeric closes his distance to kiss her full, earning hers back.

“You’ll forgive me, of course when you want to again.”

“Maybe after seeing Kan-E-Senna. She might be able to speed my healing up.” She feels her face flushed. Kiya turns her attention to their daughter for now and lowers her head to nuzzle her cheek to hers.

“Aye, she’ll visit soon after I send the letter. Be prepared for alot of visitors soon. Nanamo will be excited and so too will Krile. Meeps and Fae’a might enjoy visiting too.” Aymeric nuzzles the other side of Alyse’s face feeling the soft skin against his cheek.

“Now, my love. Get some rest. I’ll be here when you wake up.”

Ofc! I love them so much! ! !

Sometimes Remus will just like ‘die’ of boredom during class so its Pattons job to revive him, typically with fun stuff, or just something to make it interesting

For the days leading up to Pattons birthday (the month) Remus would sneak in little worms on a string wherever and by the time it reaches his birthday he has a plethora of multicolored worms

Patton has a bunkbed and when they have sleepovers they decorate the room with string lights and snacks and just make his room this little movie/sleep place and its really fun

Remus lost a bet so he had to be Pats assistant for a whole week, and during that week Logan and Pat were having a rough patch so he tried his best to make it fun. Including sending him flowers, scheduling meetings with different people who were all just him, and just being really sweet

Once Patton got really sick and couldnt get out of bed, now Logan usually takes care of Pat (and vice versa) but he was unavailable so Remus took it upon himself to take care of Patton. He made him soup, cuddled him, and made sure to give him medicine.

They say I love you alot, and casually. Its just something they've always done and will always do.

When Patton walked across the stage as Valedictorian at graduation (Logan was co-valedictorian) Remus ran up to him and gave him a giant bear hug

During his speech Patton mentioned Remus and how much he meant to him.

Even though they were supposed to be in alphabetical order Remus and Patton stood with each other in line for graduation.

They both got their scholarships at the same time and were across the school, but both hopped up and ran until they met in the middle and shared squealing excitement.

Obviously college roomates :p

See heres the thing about femmes. Im a butch dating a femme. My femme gf is ahem well endowed and is fairly passable as straight. Shes not gnc and shes not as expressive about her pride other than wearing a bracelet with the lesbian flag on it. She dosent talk about it alot and is rathur reserved with it. Never calls herself a dyke or gets too much into the feminist side of lesbianism. Its her choice of expression and Theres nothing wrong with that choice of expression.

She is attractive. She gets hit on ALOT. And i mean ALOT. Souly because she isnt gnc, shes heavier set, shes well endowed and cutely shy. This never happens when shes in my presence as im usually very expressively butch and people usually piece together that we are indeed a lesbian couple but alone she could pass either way. This if course angers the shit out of me because im protective that and she likes me being that way about prying eyes and well, we understand thats kinda... Part of being a butch and part of being a femme and part of being a butchxfemme couple.

Now you could argue that this sounds like me just bragging about my designated goddess but let me explain why i went into all that. Femmes are often more the victims of unwanted het male romantic attention than butchs are, especially the heavier set ones and the shy ones. Men like a feminine woman. They like women who have bigger chests and bigger butts. They like women who are " submissve" in their eyes. Men dont like masc/androgynous women/nbs. They dont like smaller chests or butts or a lack of curves. They dont usually like aggressive or loud and they hate obvious unavailability to them.

The society i live in veiws lesbians in usually two or three sterotypes. The cool quiet flannel-wearing beanie-rocking facial piercings stoner college friend is really the only even semi-positive one. The only other ones are the hyper feminine and sexual porn lesbians "who might be open to swing the other way" or anger ceo rapey short hair step on me kind and the hairy mean feminist bra-burning dyke. It dosent take a rocket scientist to piece together that femmes are usually sterotyped into the first negative category and butchs are sterotyped into the second.

This puts them in their own brand of danger. The stalker who thinks the poor femme is just playing hard to get when really shes entirely uninterested and quiet possibly scared. What im saying is butchs and femmes are both in danger when we express who we are, some are just in more immediate danger than others. Butchs can be singled out in a crowd. They can be figured out to be a lesbian when they are alone. This puts us on consistent phyisical danger of being beaten up or having slurs hurled at us in public environments. With femmes you cant usually pick them out of a crowd or discover them while walking home alone. This puts them up as a target for het/bi men. They think they are available to them purely for performing feminity, not knowing that they are doing it only for other women. Having usually cis and usually het and almost always mysognistic men view you as an option without a thought in their head about her actual sexuality( and even then viewing that as more of a challenge with the possibility of change than something inate and not theirs) puts you in danger. More danger than that of an actual het woman. I cant stand the thought of how many poor femmes have been attacked, raped and even killed once they revealed to the wrong persuing man that they were gay.

But really, this just echos to me why butchs exist and why femmes exist. Butchs exist to protect femmes. We do and thats a job i took to protecting my femme before we even knew we were lesbians, let alone a butch and a femme. Femmes exist to pick us back up after the man beat us down for protecting them and other femmes. That's what they do and mine dose for me exuberantly.

This also ties into the fact of why i hate when people demean such important lesbian roles down to only appearance and when bisexual women demean them down with some made up history they learned from tumblr in order to apply it to them, usually under the beliefs of that being just appearence.

Butch's being masculine is only common. We can be as feminine as we desire.

Femme's being feminine is only common. They can be as masculine as they desire.

We exist as lesbians aginest men to fight those roles through gender non conformity and unavailability to them.

TV: Roswell, New Mexico - 1x04: Where Have All the Cowboys Gone?

My thoughts are so random on this episode. There’s alot of threads being tackled and not all of them jive together. In the last two episodes watching Roswell has felt like watching three different shows all at the same time: there's a murder mystery, a family drama, and a YA high school romance in New Adult-ish clothes (omg, the genre collision). Then there are the B-plots: sexual orientation in the military and immigration politics. Trying to pull the narratives together into a cohesive whole makes for a jarring roller-coaster ride.

So, cowboys ...

Immediately, the title of episode four brings to mind stereotypes of the American Cowboy taming the Wild West. He's (always a He) gallant, tall, laconic, capable, stern, tough, emotionally unavailable, and physical.

Our candidates for cowboy hood are as varied as the stereotype is flat: Max, Michael, Kyle, Liz, Maria, Isabel, Master Sargent Manes. The problem of this line-up is the problem that the episode posits: Where Have all the Cowboys Gone? The fact is that they are missing. The stereotype is absent in the selection of characters provided. Looking back over the episode, they're knocked off one by one.

"There's a reason God put a cage around your heart."

Michael has none of the rugged, noble qualities associated with the cowboy. If anything he's more of a Drifter or a Desperado. That becomes very obvious in the light his awesome exchange with Maria:

"You drink just enough to burn off that Dramatic Cowboy Angst and then you start a fight before you have to pay."

It's SO Micheal and I am really enjoying the antagonism that exists between Maria ad Michael. The original pair had a similar, but less malicious vibe. The characters were romantically entangled, after all. Michael Vlamis's Michael Guerin is SO much more nuanced and troubled. Heather Hemmen's Maria DeLuca still carries some of Maria's quirk, but she is also very self-possessed and incredibly sharp. I still think the character is woefully under utilized, but we got to see some of her bite tonight and it was awesome!

Maria is pretty obviously our shaman in this storyline, guiding and insightful. Last week, she pointed Liz in the right direction to start her Rosa Treasure Hunt, this week it's all about revelations in the palm of Isobel's palm. Genuinely psychic, which I was so pleased to see, Maria has an odd place in the story. More connected to Rosa than to Liz, layer of remove sets her up as an outlier to all of the central action. She isn't a confidante like Kyle, dragged into the central narrative via his second romantic lead status and Liz's loose lips. In service to tonight's plot, Maria's reason for her beef with Isobel catty and high school as it sounds (I don't like you cause my BFF doesn't like you: the enemies of my friends are also my enemies, yada yada yada) acts as an entry point into a new facet of Isobel's character.

Reflections of Katherine Heigl slowly unfolds over the course of season one from this confident, sophisticated mean girl into this really lonely, needy TEENAGER was a highlight of the original series. She was clearly the best actress on the show, as later evidenced by her work on Grey's Anatomy, and I am still really disappointed that her career hasn't gone further -- you, guys, she has all the talent. Lily Cowles does a great job managing a similar trajectory, but her portrayal still reads a little disingenuous. She's missing the vulnerability that Hiegl exposed in Isabel so very well. Isobel's "carefully curated Pinterest" exterior (so aptly described by Maria) masks a woman desperate for security and stability and acceptance.

Isobel's utter pre-occupation with why Maria doesn't like her takes her down a pretty dark path. That attempted dreamwalk smacked so much of a mental rape attempt that it took me aback. Isobel's gifts make her good at violations. I didn't recognize it in last week's episode because the aggressiveness was missing. Isobel's interaction with Maria was very personal and very intent and intentional. The power dynamic though, interestingly, gets shifted pretty quickly. As Maria's psychic abilities peel back the mask that Isobel wears. It swings back again when Isobel literally shoves her abilities at Maria, demanding that she open her mind.

Isobel is obvs nobody's cowboy. She doesn't reflect the good, kind, true, upstanding hero. Her powers make her good at subterfuge.

Quickly, Kyle is way to urbane to be a cowboy. He's the town doctor: helpful, kind, smart. Master Sargent Manes is the villain. Nuff said.

Despite his very square and manly jaw and how well he fits the physical image, thus creating an expectation for us of how he will be and how we read him as a cowboy (with the hat and the boots and his thumbs in his belt loops), Max is definitely NOT a cowboy. Max is the love interest. Stereotypically, he read's as the girl in the triangle. Max is emotionally available, needy, and pining. He's laid his heart out for Liz only to have it repeatedly crushed. She does it again in this episode, admitting only that she feels something and that alot of that is terror.

In the final scene between Liz and Max, it was almost as if they were having two different conversations across time from the opposite sides of a relationship. Max, at least in his head, has been in this whole relationship with Liz that she never even knew about let alone participated in. His part of the conversation is about investing in and saving a relationship that doesn't, and never has, existed. Once again, Max declares his love for Liz and though she is able to acknowledge the feelings that he has, Liz isn't quite ready to meet him there.

So, who's left? Where HAVE all the Cowboys Gone?

Well, arguably, Liz, as much as she talks, is our laconic, capable, tough cowboy. The plucky go-getter heroine, smart, tough, distant, and capable. The entire opening scene in which Rosa describes Liz, words Liz echoes to Max, are descriptors that are traditionally coded masculine. Liz wears her distance as a badge, one that she isn't willing to let go of. I love that Liz has such a sense of herself. In that last scene, Liz is looking into the possibility of a future relationship with Max, she's still in the early exploratory phase of the relationship and is faced with a Max who is demanding more of her than she has to give. This is SO different from the original star-crossed love affair of the original series in which Max and Liz fell hard pretty instantly and equally. The shift in this iteration, the rebalancing of their affections definitely lends itself to a more grown-up narrative. Or at least, let's be honest, in this regard for Liz. While Max may still be hovering on the edges of some school boy crush for a girl he really no longer knows after an absence of ten years, Liz is living in an adult reality where love is never that simple.

Random Thoughts:

a) "People are the worse drug. They all hurt you in the end." The mystery of Rosa continues! Max does some dumb, melodramatic things and makes Jenna suspicious cause he's TIRED of hiding how much of a special snowflake he is! And then Roswell turned into a lifetime after-school special with the big reveal that Sheriff Valenti (the former) was having an affair with Liz's "teenage, drug addict sister"! Cue close-up, melodramatic tunes, and fade to black cause what can you say after that! Of course, all we've really mostly seen is Liz making one wrong left turn after another. She likes to get worked up, ratchet up the tension, make sweeping declarations inditing persons and then figuring out that okay, maybe, she might have been wrong. It's like a total soap opera.

b) What's the likelihood that crazy Alien Conspiracy Guy IS, in reality, an alien? Hiding in plain sight and all.

c) "You have exactly cinco segundos to get out!" Have I ever mentioned how much I love Spanglish? Well, any language mixing with English, really. I totes love it.

d) Master Sargent Manes remain an asshole.

e) Heart attacks out of nowhere, what up, Car Accident Kid and Papi Ortecho?!

f) I love that all of their powers have a physical limit and come at a price. It's not easy and there are repercussions.

g) Consensual, non-shamy, adult sex!! YAY!!!!

h) "I don't want to talk about him with you while I'm not wearing a bra."

i) And the finale reveals!!!! 1 - Michael killed "those girls." Does that include Rosa or just the other two? I get the feeling it was NOT Rosa, but that Michael's guilt is pushing him to become scapegoat for the sake of the family. After-school special Episode 2. No joke, it got really dramatic. 2 - The lights come back up in the city and there was, if my eyes don't deceive me, an imprint of a space ship over the city. What the actual fuck?!

Big Day

Pairing: Reader x Yixing

Summary: It is your wedding day. But when things are close to getting started, some problematic news causes you some distress.

“Y/N!” You turn around to see that one of the boys had entered your dressing room. You had already changed into your dress after getting your hair and makeup done by one of their stylists. Minseok’s soft smile filled your vision. “You look marvelous! Yixing will think so too, he has already been imagining it.” You smirked at the thought of Yixing standing at the end of the isle, seeing you in your dress for the first time. The man of your dreams waiting for you to say your vows with him, and promise to love each other for the rest of your lives. “I am so nervous Min! I know that there is nothing to worry about, but I still have butterflies in my stomach.” He walked forward and took your hand in his own. “You are just excited, you have been waiting for this day for a long time. Just breath.”

He had always been like an older brother to you, in fact all of the boys have been ever since you and Yixing started dating two years ago. They always had your back, making sure nothing ever happened to you. And when Yixing was away in China, they would keep you company if you were lonely and he was unavailable with his busy schedule. You smiled up at him now, his presence making the nerves you had a little better. “Thank you. You are right. I am just getting myself worked up,” you closed your eyes and took in a deep breath, “how is everything on your guys’ end?” He let out a small laugh, “Well the boys are all dressed. Yixing is making sure that everyone knows who they are supposed to walk with. Let’s see.... oh! Is is alright if Chanyeol add’s an extra song to the set list. He said he found something that he thought you would absolutely love, something short.” You nodded, “Of course it is alright. But I already said you guys don’t have to perform, this is a time for celebration. You should all be out there enjoying yourself tonight, there are plenty of single friends here.” He blushed a bit but still tried to hide his excitement. “We want to Y/N! This wouldn’t be work for us. It will be a gift for two people who mean alot to us all.” You gave him a soft smile. The moment was interrupted by his cell phone vibrating in his pocket. He excused himself as he pulled it out to look at. His face contorted in confusion when he looked down at the device. You tentatively raised your eyebrow at him, “Is everything alright?” He looked up and changed his expression as if nothing happened, “Oh yeah, just one of the boys. It is alright. Listen, everything will be fine, and you will be Mrs. Zhang in a matter of hours. I will see you out there.”

He turned to exit the room when Sehun burst through the door. “Hyung? You don’t happen to know where the rings are, do you?” That must have been what the message Minseok got was about. He glared at the youngest as he responded. “Not at the moment, no. But I was trying to keep this information out of Y/N’s mind right now.” Sehun looked apologetic and flustered, just keeping quiet while sending you a friendly smile. He left the room almost as quickly as he entered, leaving Min to deal with the aftermath of the information dump. You looked over to him, trying not to have a breakdown right there. “The rings are gone?!” He sighed as he walked over and placed a hand on your shoulder, “Yes, but we will find them. They couldn’t have walked off somewhere. I will send your bridal party in to keep you company now that they have had their refreshments.” You nodded again and let him lead you to the couch in the medium sized room. He placed a soft kiss on your head before leaving you by yourself.

A matter of minutes later, all of your close friends and family, of the female gender, made their way into the room. Their dresses all a shade of your favorite color, all of them looking beautiful in their own way. Your mother freaking out about how gorgeous you looked for the millionth time today. “I cannot believe my little girl is getting married. This is the best day of my life, well maybe not. That would be the day you were born... but then again they could be considered eq-” You interrupted, the thought of the missing wedding bands eating away at your pre-wedding anxiety. “Mom, the rings are missing. The rings are missing and if there aren’t any rings then we cannot put any on. And if we can’t put any on then we can’t justify our vows which means that we cannot get married. I can’t not get married. This could be a complete disaster.” You started getting up, fussing with the fabric of your dress. “I need to go help. The more people, the more likely they will be found.” Your best friend gently forced you to sit back down. “As your maid of honor it is my duty to make sure this day is perfect. So you keep that pretty little butt of yours right there.” There was no point in protesting, she had a whole army of women who would back her up in keeping you in that room.

Just then, the tears started pouring down your face. You had issues with anxiety already, and finding out that the wedding may be ruined pushed you over the edge. You didn’t care that your make up was getting smudged, they better have used waterproof stuff anyways since you were bound to cry sometime. But that was supposed to be from joy, from holding hands with Yixing in front of everyone, uniting yourselves for the rest of your lives. Now it was from being overwhelmed. “Honey, you are ruining your makeup!?” Your best friend was at your side with a box of tissues trying to blot the tears from your face. Your mother frowned as she tried to calm you down, telling you how wonderful you looked and how great the day will go. A few of your bridesmaids left the room. You assumed they were giving you some space.

A few minutes later a familiar voice made it’s way into the room. Your head perked up immediately. Yixing looked as handsome as always, but the suit added something special. You were too preoccupied to care that he saw you in your dress, or that you had makeup running down your face. His soft gaze landed on you as you tried to muster as smile for him. “Awe, my Y/N.” He walked over and wrapped his arms around you, you sunk into him like you always did. Melting into his arms as if they were perfectly molded for you. He kissed your forehead as you looked up at him. Your best friend passed him the box of tissues as she and your mother left you both alone. A small giggle left your throat, “I look radiant right now right?” He smirked and returned the laugh, “You always look radiant, even when you have raccoon eyes.” You sighed, “Is it that bad?” He wiped the tears from your eyes, “Nothing a little touch up can’t fix.” You rested your head on his chest and just sat there for a moment, taking in the smell of his favorite cologne. “How will we get married without rings?” It came out more like a mumble, but he still understood. “We don’t need rings.” He sounded very serious. You lifted your head to look him in the eyes, “What do you mean?! Of course we do.” He seemed confused by your defiance. “Why? Do we really need them to signify our vows to each other right now? We will find them eventually. But as long as I am with you, I can promise everything even if there isn’t something to slide on your finger. You still have this.” He lifted your hand and brought it to his lips, kissing the finger where your engagement ring was. Nothing flashy, but still perfect, “just like you,” he had said once. “Our loved ones will know, and we will know, that is all that matters.”

You smiled at him, your tears long gone. He always knew what to say, or what to do. That is why he was the one for you, ever since he had calmed you down in the middle of the hallway at your university once. He was visiting a friend, and as he was being shown around, your professor decided to accuse you of cheating on your exam. There was no way to prove your innocence, other than your word. So when the interrogation was over with, you had a slight mental break down in the hallway. Yixing noticed that you were upset, and made it his mission to cheer you up. His friend only had two hours to kill and had to go back to class anyways. So you ended up going to lunch with him, he wouldn’t take no for an answer. And since then, he had been your best friend.

He got the make up artist to touch up your make up, it was mostly just your cheeks since the mascara had sun down a little bit. You did not look like a raccoon, just an upset girl on her wedding day. This time she made sure to use waterproof mascara and eyeliner. Yixing had wanted to stay with you, but you told him to get back to the boys. Reluctantly he left and kissed your head, “I’ll see you at the alter my love.”

Thirty minutes later, the ceremony started right on time. All of the groomsmen and the bridesmaids made their way down the alter. Then it was time for you to enter. You took your father’s arm, the excitement making you a little shaky. As you heard the piano start playing, you both began making your way into the room. As the doors opened, you saw everyone you both cared for standing for you, but all you could focus on was him. The isle seemed longer than it did during rehearsal, like a never ending sea that separated you from Yixing. As you neared the altar, you could hear the boys comments of how amazing you looked. You gave them each a loving smile until you finally reached your final destination. Your father took your hand in his and kissed your cheek before leading your hand to Yixing’s own. Giving his little girl away to the other man in her life. “You still look radiant,” his smile beaming down at you, as his hands squeezed yours tightly.

The ceremony began with the priest reading some poems about love that you and Yixing had picked out. Each one represented your relationship perfectly in their own way. How love can find you in the silliest of situations. When it came time to exchange vows, you each read the words that you had written for each other. Both of you memorized them, both of you being over achievers. The priest was aware of the ring situation so when the time came, he announced that there would be some changes. “Due to the disappearance of the rings at this point and time, we will continue on with the ‘I do’s’ without them. Both Yixing and Y/N believe that they do not need them to promise their love to each other.” The audience sent loving remarks your way with bright smiles. But then, there was an odd sound coming from the hallway. Chanyeol said something causing the boys to turn to him in confusion. “Actually, the rings will be here soon....” Yixing seemed as shocked as you, the whole ceremony on pause for a moment. Then the tiny pitter patter of paws made their way into the room.

Down the isle came little Tobin, prancing in all his glory. His little black figure excitedly making it’s way to the altar. You noticed Chanyeol’s sister standing in the doorway, the assumed chauffeur of the pooch. You noticed something glinting off of his collar and turned to Yeol who seemed to be the only one who knew what was going on. “Yixing hyung, check his collar.” So he did as he was told, lifting up the dog and retrieving the pouch that was dangling from it, then setting the dog back down. Tobin ran back over to his less preoccupied owner and was lifted into her arms.

There they were, the missing rings. You weren’t sure exactly how they came to be tied around Tobin’s collar, but you were relieved nonetheless. After the giggles had died down, the ceremony went on as originally planned. As you both finally said “I do” an overwhelming amount of joy filled you. When you were finally allowed to kiss, Yixing took your face in his hands and placed a romantic yet delicate kiss to your lips. You and he had agreed to keep things PG-13 in front of your guests. After all, the honeymoon was only a few hours away. Cheers and applause filled the room. “I now present you Mr. and Mrs. Zhang.” Yixing scooped you up without warning and proceeded to carry you out of the room.

The wedding pictures were taken outside of the venue. There was a beautiful flower garden which you had fallen in love with from day one. Yixing promised that would be the backdrop for the photographs. Everyone posed quite well, there were also a few candid shots of the boys messing around and enjoying themselves. You didn’t mind, the smile on your now husband’s face was all you needed to see. He shyly peeked over at you every now and then when you were separated. Sometimes sending a sheepish wink.

When the pictures were all done, you had to find out exactly how the rings had made their way here. It turns out that they were left in the van which was being used to transport everyone to the venue. Since Chanyeol knew that Yoora was free, he asked her to fulfill his little plan. He figured that Tobin saving the day would brighten the mood. “I called around to see if anyone found the box, and when they did, I arranged this.” You weren’t upset, just a bit confused. “Why didn’t you just have them bring the rings over before the ceremony?” He expressed that he planned on doing that, but some things got in the way. “Well thank you for that Chanyeol, we appreciate it. Tobin sure made the ceremony exciting.” Yixing’s kind words to the younger boy whom he cared for made you smile. You looked down at your hand, now decorated with a wedding band and felt complete. You felt Yixing’s fingers intertwine with your own and leaned on his arm. “Are you ready for this party Mr. Zhang.” He gave a small laugh, “Of course, and how about you Mrs. Zhang?”

The venue was full with your friends and family when you and Yixing entered. The center of the party was the dance floor along with a small stage off to the side. The boys sang a few songs for you both, as well as your first dance. You shed more tears when Yixing sang a song he composed specifically for this day. You cried from laughter at the dance that Yixing prepared for you. You sat at the end of the dance floor as he performed in front of you. His sex appeal in full glory as you had to keep yourself from blushing a few times. He had balanced it out with some corny dances as well. You danced with your father, who told you how happy he was for you. “I can see that he is your world.” You almost cried again when he became sappy. Everyone enjoyed themselves spending the night dancing in between dinner and the cake. You and Yixing made your rounds, thanking everyone for coming and for the gifts that you had received.

At the end of the night there seemed to be a moment where the world dissipated as you were in Yixing’s arms, swaying to the slow song that was playing in the background. “I love you, so so so much.” You looked up as his eyes were fixed on you. “I love you too....husband.” You giggled at the last word. He smiled taking in the image of you as if he wanted to save it forever. “I am going to love hearing that. Husband, wife. This is our life now. And I couldn’t be happier.” You didn’t say anything. You didn’t have to. He knew you felt the same way. And with that, he kissed you, leading you into your forever.
